Photography and Passion

Photography has been a living passion in the lives of many. A sheer driving force in the backbone of those always striving for perfection in bringing a reproduction of something existing or created to life in the form of a visual art piece. An ever evolving art form and a rapidly expanding medium ensures the serious enthusiast and professional a growing and endless array of knowledge and expertise to create images that have the potential to evoke emotion which in turn makes the art limitless. Just as this art form evolves and recreates itself, so does CWPhotography.

1886 - Johannesburg. Copyright - 1886 - photos-Chris Wessels

1886 - The city was formally established in 1886 with the discovery of gold and the Witwatersrand reef. After the discovery, the population of the city exploded, and Johannesburg became the largest city in South Africa. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Johannesburg

I had the opportunity to shoot some city scenes with Lauren Winchester from The Red Phone to collaborate with her new venture. Can't say allot about it other than exciting things are about to happen.
Here are a few images from the day. I know I have mentioned this before, but....I LOVE JOZI!!!

We literally walked all over town from one building to the next. I had loads of fun and will be doing round two soon.

Stunning photos, they are showing beauty of the town, I even didn't know that Johannesburg look so great. It's a pity there is only 10pics, hope to see more shots of that city made by you.
